I love this smoothie for its gut-soothing benefits and protein punch!

And let’s not forget:

  • PREBIOTICS (fibre, like that kiwi saying hello)

  • POLYPHENOLS (berries, bursting with colours like blue, red, and purple!)

  • PROBIOTICS (fermented foods such as yogurt)

Did you know that just two kiwis per day can help improve your bathroom habits? Kiwis have been shown to have a positive effect on speeding up transit time (the bowel movement kind, not road traffic), modulating pain and having an anti-inflammatory response on the gut.

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 serving plant-based protein powder

  • 1/2 cup vegan plain oat yogurt

  • oat milk or water as needed

Directions

  1. In a blender, add blueberries, protein powder, 1/2 of the yogurt and water/oat milk as needed.

  2. Once blended, decorate your vessels! Take some of the yogurt and smear the glass container with it, creating the yogurt walls to stick the kiwifruit too. Add the kiwi slices and pop in a straw & a spoon.

  3. You’ll have to chew this smoothie and savour those kiwi at the end.
